The Lenovo LOQ 15ARP9 is a 15.6-inch AMD-based gaming laptop from the LOQ series; this configuration pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A graphics card with 4GB of memory. It suits buyers who want a laptop with dedicated graphics for Full HD gaming at the lowest cost.

AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS Processor

This processor has 4 cores and 8 threads, a 3.2GHz base clock boosting up to 4.2GHz, and 8MB of L3 cache. It is sufficient for gaming, office applications and everyday tasks, but it has fewer cores than comparable processors and is slower in heavy multi-threaded work such as rendering or exporting video.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A Graphics

The RTX 3050A in this configuration has 4GB of GDDR6 memory and a TGP of up to 65W, and supports DLSS, Ray Tracing and Dynamic Boost 2.0. This is the weakest graphics option for this model: compared with the 6GB RTX 3050, it has less graphics memory and lower power. It suits light online games and older titles at Full HD, but in new games the 4GB of graphics memory becomes a limitation even at low settings. Frame Generation, available on RTX 40 and 50 series cards, is not supported on this card.

12GB RAM and 512GB SSD

The 12GB of DDR5-4800 RAM is installed in a laptop with two SO-DIMM slots; maximum supported memory is 32GB. The 512GB storage is an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, and there are two M.2 slots on the board, so a second SSD can be added.

15.6-inch IPS Display

The 15.6-inch display has Full HD (1920×1080) resolution, a matte (anti-glare) IPS panel and a 144Hz refresh rate. Official brightness is 300 nits, contrast 1000:1 and 100% sRGB coverage, with NVIDIA G-SYNC support. The display is not touch-enabled.

Design, Battery and Ports

The chassis is made of PC-ABS in Luna Grey, weight starts at 2.38kg and thickness ranges from 21.9 to 23.9mm. Ports include three USB-A 5Gbps, one USB-C 10Gbps with Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet and a 3.5mm audio jack. A keyboard with numpad and white backlighting, a 60Wh battery with rapid charging (up to 50% in 30 minutes), two 2W speakers and Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.2 are also included. Lenovo rates battery life at about 3.8 hours in MobileMark 25. This unit ships without an operating system.

Who Is This Laptop For?

Budget-minded buyers who play light online games and older titles.

Students who need a laptop with dedicated graphics alongside their studies.

Users who mostly use the laptop in one place, plugged in.

With this configuration, the LOQ 15ARP9 is a low-cost entry into gaming laptops; however, the 4-core processor, graphics with 4GB of memory, short battery life and weight of about 2.4kg are its limitations. If you want new games at high quality, consider RTX 4050 or higher configurations. Buying this laptop from Computer Hub comes with a guarantee of authenticity and free expert consultation.

AMD Ryzen 5 7235HS

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050A
